Welcome to My Portfolio

Long have I dreamed of becoming a writer. I have been reading books for as long as I can remember, devouring as many tales of fantasy, science fiction, horror, thrill, and mystery as I could get my hands on. It was, of course, only a matter of time until I was no longer satisfied with merely reading other people's tales. Even in grade school, I couldn't resist the urge to create. I filled notebooks with stories of all sorts, at first mostly fanfictions. I still possess a college rule spiral notebook that contains four pages of my very first fanfiction, a Final Fantasy VIII story, though the third grade handwriting makes it nearly impossible to read.

As I've matured, so too have my skills with the pen, or rather keyboard. I have written stories based on my favorite player character in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a tentative novel adaptation for my own version of Star Wars VII, an ill-advised horror/romance, and a dystopian novel with an obligatory angsty teen lead. All of these and more have been abandoned, left by the wayside as I develop beyond the bad writing habits and poor grammar of those years. Now, finally, I am taking the first steps in my journey as a professional writer.

This website, which I will keep updated with all of my writing exploits, and these blog posts, which I hope to update monthly with my current works in progress, denote the beginning of this journey. I have a few short stories which I have already posted here for your enjoyment. As I continue to write and continue to be published, these stories will be joined by more. Hopefully, some more professional writing credits will be added to the page, linking to all of the projects that I have been a part of.

In the near future, this website will expand even further. As I near the completion of the editing of my first novel, I am preparing to include a page dedicated to the handcrafted world of Khanan. The hope is to have a comprehensive collection of all the history, mythology, and maps that make up this project that I have been working on for the past five years.

I hope that as I continue to grow, develop, and publish more of my writings, that you all will follow me on this journey. May my stories inspire each of you to open your minds and your mouths and share your own. Everyone has something worthwhile to share with the world. Don't silence your voice.
